Teachey, NC

Teachey NC is a small
town in Duplin County, home of the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs.
Teachey is located on Hwy 117, just minutes from Interstate I-40
between Raleigh and Wilmington. Teachey is a rural setting, but
close to Wallace which has all the amenities like grocery
stores, fast food restaurants and more upscale eateries like the
Mad Boar Restaurant and the nearby Duplin Winery in Rose Hill.

The
Town of Teachey was incorporated January 30, 1874, preceding both
Wallace and Rose Hill. Teachey has recently installed a new sewer
system to satisfy the growth of the town over the upcoming years.
Teachey is known for its festive Christmas light display and McMillan
Victorian Inn Bed & Breakfast. The McMillan Victorian Inn Bed &
Breakfast is a 1908 house refurbished in 1998 into an attractive and
comfortable bed and breakfast. |
